Should we remain silent when the few of us get to trample on the rest of us?
Sometimes it feels like I can hear the screams of the animals we are laying to waste for the sake of “civilization”
The destruction we perpetuate in the name of “technology” —
I am no pessimist, but I cry for the millions of trees that burned this year
I cried, I cry, how can one have a dry eye? Might it be blind? Or unkind?
Should we remain silent while torture takes place? Torture because of this obsession with a border, and strong men who just scream law and order?
I cannot permit that they get the last word, that the cruel and the brutal command our attention in desperate acts of redirection
I may have begun with the cliches, but why are they?! Why has annihilation become common place? Why has political coercion become normal?
